SHANE MCLAUGHLIN- MANAGER OF OPERATIONS

Shane is a business development professional with a passion for building meaningful
relationships and helping organizations find practical solutions to complex challenges. A
graduate of the University of Oklahoma, he combines a strong foundation in business
and communication with a genuine commitment to customer service and partnership.
Throughout his career, Shane has worked closely with manufacturers, distributors, and
industry partners, earning a reputation for being approachable, dependable, and
focused on long-term success. He believes the strongest business relationships are
built on trust, transparency, and a shared commitment to achieving positive outcomes.
Outside of work, Shane enjoys studying history, photography, and spending time at the
beach. His appreciation for storytelling, whether through historical research or the lens
of a camera, reflects the curiosity, creativity, and attention to detail he brings to both his
professional and personal pursuits. Alongside his brother Kyle, the two are excited to be
the third generation to serve and expand Sooner Express.

Patrick McLaughlin: Leading a Legacy of Reliable 3PL Warehousing, Transportation, and Distribution

Pat is a business leader whose vision and entrepreneurial spirit have played a key role
in the growth and evolution of the company. A graduate of UCLA, he has spent his
career focused on building strong customer relationships, identifying opportunities for
growth, and creating practical solutions that meet the needs of clients and partners.
Recognizing the changing demands of the industry, Pat spearheaded the expansion into
warehousing and logistics services, helping transform the company into a more
comprehensive transportation and supply chain provider.

Pat has worked with major companies such as Coca Cola, Proctor and Gamble, John Paul Mitchell Systems,
Starbucks and Pepsico as well as small start up businesses, much like Sooner’s roots.
His forward-thinking approach and commitment to service continue to shape the
company's direction and long-term success. Outside of work, Pat enjoys riding
motorcycles and cycling, pursuits that reflect his appreciation for adventure, discipline,
and the open road. Whether leading business initiatives or exploring new routes on two
wheels, he brings the same passion, determination, and curiosity to everything he does.
Curt McLaughlin
Curt was the founder of the company and the driving force behind its beginnings.
Raised in Miami, Oklahoma during the hardships of the Great Depression, he learned
early the values of hard work, perseverance, and determination. After attending
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, he moved to California in the 1950s in pursuit of
greater opportunities for himself and his growing family. At first, he worked with Santa
Fe National Railway working in the beginnings of Interline Freight. Inspired by the belief
that dedication and integrity could build a better future, he founded the company in 1973
with a small truck yard in Chatsworth, California. What began as a modest operation
was built on a simple philosophy: treat customers fairly, work hard, and always keep
your word. Through his vision, entrepreneurial spirit, and unwavering commitment to
service, he laid the foundation for a business that would continue to grow across
generations. Beyond his accomplishments in business, Curt was a devoted family man
whose greatest motivation was creating opportunities for those he loved. His legacy
lives on not only through the company he built, but through the values of honesty,
resilience, and hard work that continue to guide its operations today. More than fifty
years after its founding, the company remains a testament to his vision and
determination: a lasting reminder of what can be achieved through perseverance,
courage, and a commitment to family.

KYLE MCLAUGHLIN

Kyle brings years of hands-on transportation and logistics experience to the team.
Having worked as a nationwide long-haul driver with Prime Inc., he developed extensive
knowledge of trucking operations, freight movement, route planning, and the day-to-day
challenges of the transportation industry. Today, as one of the company's drivers, he
continues to apply that expertise while helping ensure reliable and efficient service for
customers. Known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and practical problem-solving
skills, Kyle understands the importance of safety, communication, and delivering on
commitments. His real-world experience behind the wheel provides valuable insight into
the logistics process and helps strengthen the company's operations. Outside of work,
Kyle enjoys riding motorcycles, chopping wood, and spending time outdoors. He also
has a strong interest in arboriculture and tree care, reflecting his appreciation for hard
work, craftsmanship, and the natural world. Whether on the road or in the woods, he
brings dedication, knowledge, and a hands-on approach to everything he does.
